How can embroidering one little peacock feather take almost 2 weeks????I guess because I am a total beginner - I had never done a French knot before, for a start.
Anyway, it's done now, and I quite like it, other than the very dodgy machine sewing around the edge of the mini quilt. I really must practice more with that machine!

Great job for a beginner ! You sure learn quick, my dear ! Love the subject too ! Peacock feathers are among my favorite things - I have a bouquet of them in my bedroom. My hubby bought them as a gift for me from a feather seller on-line one of our first Christmas' together. Ah, the magnificience of nature's paint brush ! I think you captured it very well !
