Oh dear, she looks a little sad

....maybe it's because her eyes are wonky, poor dear

I've been working on this painting of a melancholy, wonky-eyed, fat-nosed lady off and on for a few days in my pair journal, and I think she's done now.....

Totally influenced by (and nowhere near up to the standard of!) the wonderful work of Marion Bolognesi

Ooh I think she's fabulous and she does look sad doesn't she?

I don't think she looks fat nosed, I think it looks tender like she's been blubbing!

Thanks for the link to Marion - am going to investigate her more - gorgeous work!

Loving her... She looks very ethereal, really looking forward to seeing her IRL soon. I need to get organised after a busy few weeks and start the next creative spell in my/our journal. I can see me browsing Marion's work for a while first though!
